  Mosquito Repellent and Personal Protection Tips

West Nile Virus and other mosquito-borne viruses can be a risk throughout the mosquito season. Therefore, residents are urged to take precautions to protect themselves during the season by:

  • Dressing in long sleeves and pants when outdoors during mosquito activity
  • Avoiding the outdoors from dusk to dawn during times of peak mosquito-borne virus activity
  • Regularly using insect repellent when outdoors
