OtterTail Environmental, Inc. offers a
broad range of NEPA/Impact assessment support services. Our specialists
have managed numerous NEPA projects and have prepared technical sections
of NEPA documents and background studies in the areas of aquatic and
wildlife biology, vegetation, hydrology, and water quality. Additionally,
our staff understands and has experience in the Endangered Species Act
Section 7 and Section 10 process and how Incidental Take Permits/Habitat
Conservation Plans and Biological Assessments integrate with NEPA.
These services have been conducted for various agencies and
organizations including the U.S. Forest Service, Bureau of Land
Management, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Colorado Division of Wildlife,

In addition to NEPA document preparation, OtterTail staff have assisted with
meetings for the public and interagency scoping process, and have helped to
identify and define the issues developed from comments during scoping. Water
quality, protection of aquatic resources, habitat conservation, and permit
compliance are issues that are central to many of the NEPA projects OtterTail
staff have worked on.
